About Me

Melanie Tamminga: I live with my husband, John, and our little baby boy, Joey, in Hamilton, Ontario. I have a diploma in Educational Assistance, working with special needs children and adults, but am currently on maternity leave. Since staying home with Joey, I've been looking for things to keep me busy while he's napping or playing quietly, which now that he's 9 months, doesn't happen quite as often anymore. I started knitting baby hats a couple of months ago just to try it, and now baby hats and yarn are taking over our little house. I have a deep love for homemade things, and am always trying to make things out of flea market finds.
